Excited by New Album

When i discovered Serj with System, i realized that he has the greatest voice ever. Those screams and death growls fills me with energy and happiness for continue with this injustice called life. I tried to listen to all System records and i pass to the solo projects. I download the Elect the Dead first and then Scars on Broadway. I had to admit that when i listened to Elect the Dead, i felt like Zeus throws me a Thunder to my brain, because it was a great record. I'm not saying that Scars On Broadway is a bad album, i think is great, but if you do a Versus between the 2 i will choose Elect the Dead. My father, a music lover as me, heards the record too... he doesn't like it, but he buy me a copy of the CD as a Christmas gift. I was amazed and i start listening something about 5 minutes later of say 'thanks, dad'.

At early 2010, i read that Serj going to release a new record in March 9. I was amazed again, because i though "oooh! new record! new songs" but then i notice that was a symphonic version of Elect the Dead with 2 songs that i don't know, those were "Gate 21" and "The Charade"-i heard the version of Axis of Justice but i just think that wasn't the same-. Well i download it, and listened and i think it was an excelent live album with a lot of sweet and fresh things. It doesn't matter if it don't had guitars, bass and drums, but the feeling that is present there is alive as it was in the original record.

Then, i knew that Serj's going to release a STUDIO album called "Music Without Borders" and i start to jump like Super Mario breaking a brick. This was in May, i think it was in early June when i notice that the title was a Working Title for the Record and the real name is "Imperfect Harmonies" and at late June, i think, it was released the incredible song 'Borders Are'. I listened a couple of times and it like the Zeus thing again. The in July, it was released 'Left of Center'. To me sounds like the Elect the Dead songs but with a soft mix of flamenco. Then with the studio version of 'Disowned Inc.', i realized that it was a great album that its coming. Disowned is like a Symphonic Hard Rock with airs to Free Jazz and slightly techno influence. It was something that i never listened before, even with The Beatles who explores all of those styles. To me, 'Imperfect Harmonies' will be one of the greatest release of 2010. Thanks Serj for this amazing gift, and take care.
