Hello friends, fellow artists, enemies ( ? )
It’s been a long (very long) and ridiculous process, but we finally have the winners of the Imperfect Harmonies Art Contest! Now, before we get onto the list of winners, I just want to apologize for the lengthy delay.
When it came time to vote on the art entries most people took it upon themselves to vote on what they honestly felt were the best entries-- unfortunately there were a few people who created multiple false accounts and consistently voted down every single entry except their own. This was a problem, and so we’ve had to (by hand) count every individual vote on every single painting, ignoring the votes that were placed maliciously to ensure the proper people were being rewarded for their art and ignoring the cheaters.
Thanks again to everyone for being so patient while we sorted out this rather imperfect situation. Once again, JUSTICE PREVAILS!
So, now that THAT’S out of the way, I would like to present the winners of the Imperfect Harmonies Art Contest.
The Top 5 Paintings as voted by you the fans are as follows. Each one of these entries will be signed by Serj and returned to the artists that created them. These artists will also receive a copy of Imperfect Harmonies and a Serj Tankian T-Shirt.

I have to say, you guys certainly know how to pick your art- these are all so amazing, and unfortunately there were SO MANY amazing art entries, it’s a shame they all couldn’t win (well, I suppose they all could win- ‘cmon Warner Bros! Give them all prizes!) But-- let’s not forget about the grand prize winner!
The grand prize winner was chosen by Serj himself and will have their artwork signed and custom framed by Serj. They also receive three 48 x 48 inch Imperfect Harmonies artwork panels. So without further ado, the grand prize winner is...

I still cant believe the whole contest was based on what people didn't want to win. Because of this many great paintings were shoved aside and fed to the dogs. I completely agree with salander's comment, at least someone gets it.

Too bad that 2nd wasn't chose as the Great Prize Winner - a miss, in my opinion.
But wtf who cares, we all can be proud - somehow.

WOW! You guys are amazing! Seriously, thank you so much! ^^ I didn't really expect to win, because it was my first oil painting and I was not so experienced on it, but I did it my best! ^^

congrats ! i personally thing the first place as a good idea, take the harmonies of children. good point ! Oh well. Shame on cheaters ! & congrats everyone :D !!
5th, 2nd and the Grand Prize winners are my favourites :) It's sad that people felt the need to cheat, but I can happily say that I voted fairly and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of creating my own Imperfect Harmony and seeing other people's ^_^ I'm glad all of the winners entries were traditional pieces of art, and not photoshopped or whatever... Some of those were NAFF! xD
I think, You cheated. First of all: the deadline was extended by 1 month. Why?
Second: some (at least 4 pictures) has been arrived after the 2nd deadline.
Third: 2 of the winner pictures are under 2 stars (deservedly, in my opinion), there are some not winner pictures above 2 stars, and I don't think because of cheating. Yes, maybe some people voted for his/her favourite with five, and for the others with one star. I dont't think it's cheating - it's life.
2nd and 3rd are really masterpieces, and the grand prize winner is very good, but in my and in my friends opinions there are better paintings than the 5th, 4th and 1st.
Yes, I know, art is not exact science :)
Thanks to everyone who voted for my painting, I still can't believe I placed. There were some great entries and those paintings really made me think. We were made to think of what the title meant to us and try to express that through art. Hard job to do; but all did it well. Cheers from Canada! Peace!
